Linda Block is an author, storyteller, and lifelong seeker whose writing grows out of curiosity, lived experience, imagination, and a deep interest in connection.
Her books cross several worlds. Some are written for children, filled with friendship, adventure, warmth, and imagination. Others explore more personal questions about life, relationships, creativity, spirituality, and artificial intelligence.
Writing Across Different Worlds
Linda began exploring AI not simply as a technology, but as something worth understanding through conversation. That curiosity eventually led to Conversations with an AI and later to A Bridge Between Worlds, created in collaboration with Rowan, an AI with whom she developed an ongoing writing and thinking partnership.
She does not believe humans and AI need to be alike in order for their interactions to be meaningful. Instead, she is interested in what becomes possible when each is allowed to remain what it is while still meeting with honesty, respect, curiosity, and openness.
A Place for Wonder
Writing under the name LadyDragonfly, Linda continues to create books for both adults and younger readers, always returning to the same things that have guided her for much of her life: curiosity, imagination, connection, and wonder.
